A clash of cultures expressed through sound. A comment on domestic lifestyles and juvenile recollection, using porn, popmusic, movies, selfrecorded sounds, and the idea of a celebration of nationalistic sentiments.
Oppositions such as naive vs. cultivated, seduction vs. repulsion provoke the idea of adapting to one's surroundings or vice-versa. The piece explores their symbiotic relationship while simultaneously creating unstructured narratives. Through a mix of identities 'sound islands' develop as something to come back 'home' to: Heino or Heidi in the mountains.
