"This is Listener’s Voice, a radio station for listeners’ calls, operated by an Automatic Moderator. Listener’s Voice broadcasts on alternating frequencies that have been bought but are not in use. You find Listener’s Voice by listening while moving up and down the FM scale. When no call comes in, the Automatic Moderator switches over to wave search. In this case you’ll hear whatever the moderator finds within your area.

Listener’s Voice is not responsible for the content of the contributions broadcast. The language of transmission, style and length of what is said depends on the listener. Identify yourself as I, she, he or it — Listener’s Voice has only limited capacity for transmitting identifying information. Your contribution will not be recorded.

Two programs assist the Automatic Moderator and can be activated by your contribution: the Register and the Index. The Register contains data such as names of persons, places, wars, newspapers, and scenario functions. Occasionally, the Register interrupts the transmission of such names by stating such-and-such, adds alternatives to the data you mentioned, or informs you about further usages of Listener's Voice. The Index is programmed to recognize repetitions or combinations of words. If it recognizes such repetitions as an attempt on your part to program a discussion, it retransmits the words repeated and recommences this announcement. Immediately afterwards, Listener’s Voice changes frequency.

Listener’s Voice is a place with no address, at the edge of democracy. There is no target audience by definition. The station has been made possible by the Member Club of Visa Cardholders and the Guest Workers’ Society for Visa Applicants. Further donations are not required. Listener’s Voice in FM transition."
