Here's my idea for the Embodied Cognitive Science reserach community.
The way to go is to build complete agents that show the capacity to do double scope Conceptual Blending as an emergent feature.The idea is to try to bring together, step by step, the two main threads on embodiment in cognitive science. These are: • The concept of complete agents in what Rolf Pfeiffer and Christian Scheier call 'Embodied Cognitive Science' - the study of intelligence by building robots or simulations that display intelligent behaviour. • The concept of Double Scope Conceptual Blending that Gilles Fauconnier and Mark Turner develop in their book The Way We Think.
