132 FALSIFICATION Is it a psychological question whether you are inclined toward discovering confirming instances of statements rather than falsifying ones? The falsification program (not really a 'program') A & L unleashed on the domain of art (1968-71) had to eventually turn inward to A & L itself. This is the cause of the present A & L pandemonium.
