Ethical Challenges in the Information AgeThe Joy of Sharing Knowledge
Pretoria, 5-7 February 2007
The first Pan-African Conference on Information Ethics was organized by
- the University of Pretoria,
- the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA, and
- the International Center for Information Ethics.
The proceedings of this conference will be published in the International Review of Information Ethics (IRIE).
The conference was sponsored by the South African Government and under the patronage of UNESCO.

Tshwane Declaration
At the conference the Tshwane Declaration was adopted.
Proceedings
The proceedings have been published as a special issue of the Internation Review of Information Ethics.
