He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1992 at the College of Fine Arts [University of South Wales] after working mainly with photography and installation. This was followed by a MA [1999] in performance and photography. In 1999 he worked as an artist in residence at the Artist unlimited Studios, Bielefeld and later at the University of New South Wales [2000-2001]. Currently, Beaubois lectures on Electronic Arts at the University of Western Sydney.
