Surveillance Camera Players

Die Gruppe der Surveillance Camera Players [SCP] wurde von Bill Brown, Susan Hull und verschiedenen anderen vom Situationismus inspirierten AktivistInnen in New York [USA] im November 1996 ins Leben gerufen. Seitdem hat die anarchistische Gruppe mehr als 40 Performances direkt vor Überwachungskameras gegeben. Diese fanden meist in New York City statt, aber auch in verschiedenen anderen Städten. Weiters gibt es von den Surveillance Camera Players auch Filialen in Tempe, Arizona bzw. San Francisco [USA], Bologna [I], Stockholm [S] und in Litauen [LT].
