Perhaps we can agree that reconstructions (how do you mean that?) which try to avoid the pitfalls of reductionism live outside a certain world of bureaucratized knowing and being. Pandemonium presupposes a context of teaching and learning, of mutual sharing. The historical dimensions of this discourse remain undeveloped, so you have a point that pandemonium is no longer a useful term. Michael Corris (
