339 SURFACE-STRUCTURE I'm not all that sure that the surface-structure we are picking up (i.e., all the 'clusters' or 'coagulations') are characterizable as 'notions we would like to be certain of'. This may imply too much that we are in the chimera of 'perfect knowledge'.
